Description
Cayenne Pepper and Ginger Pain Relieve Salve with added moisturisers is a great all-rounder. It’s mainly used for Pain Relieve but also helps against wound infection, to heal cuts, bruises and burns.

The main ingredient is Cayenne Pepper, which when infused into oil releases its pain relieving properties.

Ginger Root is used in treatments for Arthritis and improves blood circulation.

Cayenne pepper contains Capsaicin, which blocks pain when used topically. Unfortunately, its also an allergen. You should test it on your hand by making a paste of Cayenne powder and water or getting my Tester Salve HERE. If after 24h no swelling or redness has appeared you can keep using the Cayenne Pepper and Ginger Salve.

Personal Experience using Cayenne and Ginger Pain Relief Salve
At the time of writing this article, I had used this salve for one week and my usually cracked and callused hands and feet have stayed soft and springy. Wounds heal faster and the pain in my right thump has not returned. I use this salve on my hands, washed feet and legs at night.
I also had 2 burns on the same hand. One at the wrist and one on my pinky, which was really sore and blistered until I got home to put the salve on. In both cases, the inflammation, pain and swelling went down quickly and was gone the following morning.
A little goes a long way – so use sparingly. This goes for the pain relief salve and massage oil. Your skin won’t be able to absorb it all and it will feel sticky.
Please note that Cayenne pepper and especially Turmeric are natural colourants and will stain light coloured clothes. Let the salve soak in first.
This salve is not suitable for pregnant women or when nursing. Do not use on the face (close to the eyes and mouth). It will burn.
Cayenne and Ginger salve is all natural and would not harm anyone in your household, unless allergic. The salve could be eaten but would be very spicy. If it happens, especially with young children, give them plenty of water to drink. So keep out of reach.
